Bronze has long been favoured by seafarers for its exceptional resistance to corrosion.

This ancient alloy withstands salt water, coral and atmospheric exposure, while its antimagnetic properties are well known to every navigator.

Those qualities are essential for a watch that regularly descends into the sea. Bronze also takes an excellent polish, giving a ship’s-bronze timepiece a radiant presence unlike any other.

The unique monocoque case is machined from a single piece of metal and has no caseback, ensuring water resistance and fully protecting the movement from moisture, dust, pressure, and various mechanical impacts.

Luminescent Material — Bronze Collection

A safe green luminescent compound is applied by hand to the dial. It charges by absorbing light energy from any light source and emits a bright, long-lasting glow in the dark.

The watch maintains water resistance and accurate timekeeping even at great depth thanks to its special construction: a monocoque case machined from a single piece of metal, special seals, and a unique pressure cap with a patented triple-sealing system that protects the crown.

The screw-down crown ensures reliable water resistance and protects the movement from moisture, dust, and pressure.

AGAT watches are equipped with an automatic winding system: responding to the natural motion of the wrist, the rotor steadily builds power reserve and maintains rate accuracy without the need for daily winding. This construction enhances wearing convenience, reduces load on the winding mechanism, and ensures reliable movement operation with regular wear.
